Award Overview
Award Title: Outstanding Product and Contribution of the Year (China) Award Recipient: 1 Click SMT Award-Winning Product: Mas-i4 Selective Soldering Machine
Mas-i4 Selective Soldering Machine Product Highlights
The Mas-i4 represents the latest generation of selective soldering equipment, delivering exceptional flexibility and high production yield with support for parallel soldering of four PCBs at once. It adopts an XY servo platform fitted with two independent flux nozzles (Flux 1 and Flux 2). Servo motors automatically adjust the spacing between the two nozzles via software programming, and the machine only requires around ten minutes for full program setup and commissioning.
Users are offered flexible flux configuration options: they can operate with a single nozzle to accommodate two different flux types on one unit, or configure both nozzles to dispense the same flux simultaneously.
For precise thermal control, the Mas-i4 integrates dual-stage preheating: a top convection preheating zone and a bottom infrared preheating zone. The upper preheating module sits directly above the soldering zone to optimize solder filling performance.
Another standout advantage is its ultra-compact footprint. Comparable four-nozzle competitive machines stretch over 5 meters in length, while the Mas-i4 occupies less than 3.5 meters of floor space, cutting space occupation by over 30%.
About the EM Innovation Awards
Launched in 2006, the EM Innovation Awards honor suppliers that deliver transformative innovation and drive progress across the electronics manufacturing sector.
Judging follows rigorous evaluation standards covering innovation capability, cost efficiency, throughput and capacity enhancement, production quality upgrades, user-friendliness, maintainability and process optimization. Winning products are selected independently by a jury of senior process and engineering managers from EMS/OEM manufacturers, alongside veteran industry specialists.
